Atlanta AACN Chapter Secretary-Elect Election

3 of the candidates gave me information to let you know more about them. Please read below prior to voting!

Stephanie Clarke:

“I am Stephanie Clarke, BSN, RN, a cardiovascular intensive care nurse at Emory University Hospital. I work with critically ill patients who need high levels of mechanical support, like ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT, etc. In our unit, I am part of the Code Committee, which has recently launched projects to enhance communication, improve crisis response, and improve patient safety. I value lifelong learning, professional advocacy, and creating an environment where nurses feel heard, supported, and equipped to do their jobs with excellence. As Secretary-Elect, I look forward to promoting transparency and furthering member engagement to help create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence in critical care.”

Ansley Nolen:

“My name is Ansley, and I’m excited to be running for the Atlanta AACN Secretary position. I began my nursing career in the CHOA Egleston/ AMBH PICU and currently practice in the MSICU at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, where I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the complexity, teamwork, and resilience that define critical care medicine. Outside of work, I love riding horses, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I’m also passionate about giving back to the community and regularly volunteer at local animal shelters. I’m eager for the opportunity to support our chapter and help strengthen the dedicated critical care nursing community here in Atlanta.”

Glenda Rodriguez:

Hi everyone! My name is Glenda and I am running for secretary for the ATL AACN chapter; I’ve been a critical care nurse for 5 years, most recently with Emory. I am an active volunteer with the Red Cross, helping with blood drives and interpreting for Spanish speaking patients. I’m a nerd at heart, an introvert, and my soft spot is pediatrics and special needs individuals. My hobbies include having Netflix mini series marathons, going to the gym, and hanging out with my family. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!”

Thank you!
