Calling all Engaged Local Members

The Atlanta Area Chapter is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic members to join our Local Board of Directors.

Our Chapter has been so successful because of our member engagement. We must keep this flame lit and we need you to be a part of the process.

When you join the Board, you join a family. We support you, we guide you, we help wherever we can, we just need your commitment of the first Wednesday of the month from 5pm - 8pm.

You would join the Board as a support person for 1 year and then move into the forefront and maintain the position for 1 year. So yes it can be up to a 2 year commitment. We are there for you to make sure you have a successful tenure. If there is a meeting you can not attend, that's ok but the expectation is for you to attend 75% of the local meetings in person.

The current Board positions are: Membership, Secretary, Education, Community, and Social Media.

To be President or Treasurer you must be currently serving on the board for 1 year in another role.
