Election Results and August's In-Person Event!

Good Morning everyone!

I am excited to announce that we have some new folks joining the Board this month.  The new elect positions (this will be their training year) will be filled by the following:

President Elect:  Maya Jackson
Secretary Elect:  Ashley Howle
Education Elect:  William London
Membership Elect:   Keith Woodington
Community Liaison:  Kameil Gash
Social Media:  Sheena Martin

We also had a few write in suggestions for Treasurer and Region 6 Liaison and I will be reaching out to them to see if they are interested.

We thank all our volunteers who are coming out this year to help keep this awesome Chapter ticking!  

We are also excited to let you know that we are going to be transitioning back to in person events in August starting with a talk that will be exploring thrombotic microangiopathies and atypical-HUS in a patient with renal failure on apheresis.  The speaker will be Dr. Salvatore Chillemi and the event will be held at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.  If you are interested you must sign up using your ‘Nursing Network’ account because space will be limited to 20 spots.  If you sign up and then are not able to make it please go back to the website and unregister for the event so someone else can take your spot since there will likely be a waiting list.
