Chapter members,
Thank you so much for your membership for the last year. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your Chapter President. To say that the last few months have been challenging would be an understatement, but I hope that you've been able to find moments of peace in the midst of all the stress, confusion, and uncertainty.
GNA continues to have weekly conference calls on how best to support nurses during the pandemic, and I've attached the last several weeks' worth of minutes for your perusal.
There are still a few positions open for board member-elect positions--Community service, membership, and education. The time commitment has historically been, at most, about 5 hours per month, and this includes our monthly Wednesday meetings. Serving on the board also looks great on your resume and clinical ladder applications.....
Dalton Skipper will take over as President on July 1, and I have absolutely no doubt that he will continue to serve and lead this chapter with unstoppable passion and energy. Thank you to the outgoing board members for your service. I couldn't have done it without you all.
