Atlanta AACN January Updates

Hello and Happy New Year!

     I hope that you had a restful and relaxing holiday. Our next meeting will be on February 5th, location pending. Look for an announcement in the next coming days.

     Congratulations to Adriana Shults, our first NTI Scholarship recipient! Our chapter will select 3 more members at our upcoming meetings for a scholarship to attend the annual conference in Indianapolis. Early registration ends March 18. As a chapter member, you are also eligible for a $75 dollar rebate from AACN. See the attached form for more information.

    There are a number of opportunities for volunteering for MLK Day through the United Way. More information can be found here:

     And finally, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is accepting nominations for exceptional nurses. The deadline for nominations is January 31, and the nomination form can be found here.
