Greetings, chapter members!
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. It was great to see so many of you at our August meeting!
Our next chapter meeting is Wednesday, Sept 4 at Seasons 52, 90 Perimeter Center West, Dunwoody GA. Board meeting is at 5pm--all are welcome to attend--and the educational portion will begin at 6:30. Space is limited, so you must be sure to register for this event on our new Nursing Network page, https://atlantaaacn.nursingnetwork.com/
Volunteer Opportunities--The Winship Cancer Institute "Winship Win the Fight 5K" is Saturday, October 5th. Volunteers are needed on Oct 4th and 5th. If you're able to help, more information can be found: here
Don't forget to register for Visioning Beyond the Basics, Sept 22-24!! One-day registration is also available if you cannot attend both days. We will choose 5 more chapter members for complimentary registration at the September meeting. If you are awarded a scholarship to attend, you must pay and register, attend the conference, and you will receive your reimbursement at the October meeting after providing your CE certificate. As a reminder, Chapter dues will increase September 1st, 2019. 1-year membership is $30, 2-year membership is $55. If you would like to know your chapter status, you can email me or our Membership Chair, Mary Svendrowski, (mary.svendrowski@emoryhealthcare.org)
